The Master and Margarita trial

Action takes place in mangy and disproportional court hall, where the renovation works are going on, preparing space for the court against Mihail Bulgakov about his work „The Master and Margarita”. Playing out scenes from this novel with soviet symbols and fantastic slogans, characteristic colours and items, carnation and Stalins silhouette, that has been combined with Bulgakov's characters – huge, artificial moon, humans head, mask of the cat- monsters created by social regime are being demonstrated recovering message of work.

Just when all of participating characters have been arrived to the court and have taken the last photo together, that forms the structure of one body a lot like DNS, everything gets ready.

Judge hits the gavel, nobody makes a sound and huge black cat runs over the stage…

At the moment the viewer is ready to see the performance, it is actually finished. The judge can bee anybody, who has seen the performance „The Master and Margaritas” trial.

Flight = delight, flight = fraud, flight = power

The idea is that the action is taking place in the building of mechanical factory. There are metal constructions all around, rails and rotating platform on which, as it later appears, aeroplane – the symbolic city between haven and the earth, is being constructed.

As the play goes “object”, depending on stage setting, is transforming and lives trough different unordinary changes together with acting figures.

This is able to approach the footlights of the stage, rotate around itself, lift itself vertically. For example, when both main characters are attacked by the birds, they hide inside the “object”. First they throw out huge amount of feather afterwards they see that the “object” is filled with a lot of frozen chicken which is later cooked and eaten by both main characters.

Pistheteros and Euelpides find out the way how to pilot this artificial aeroplane and subordinate the birds and Gods afterwards.

In the end, when the hull of the aeroplane is lifted vertically, it transforms into a gigantic cosmos phallus – the symbol of power, mean to get into space and have the scepter of Zeus and his wife. 

The action is taking place in crashed submarine wrack. All the action is to get out. But in any case only exit is death.
